It automatically integrates all your accounts and financial information into a clear, simple, and understandable, format. It automatically updates your entire financial picture and it changes all necessary accounts for you each time you change just one.

 

Money Decoder is a legacy application for Windows 98, XP, Vista and 7 created using Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 2000. The architecture was standardized using a N-Layers approach.

 

Near Coding received this application and its source code from Money Decoder CEO, Mark Harvey, in order to add new features, solve bugs and create implementations for Money Decoder clientele.

SST - Smart Search Technology

Smart Search Technology (SST) is a Enterprise and a Web Dashboard Portal created for Arsenal Security Group, LLC, later bought by Protiviti Inc.

 

The Enterprise Application was a program designed to be installed in client computers using Windows XP and up to Windows 8, the program was a smart-client constantly scanning and constantly communicating with the cloud (initially Sales Force, which Near Coding personnel also handled), and later Sales Force feeding internal dashboard of Arsenal and of Arsenal’s clients, all of this using in-house search technologies that will look for insecure items, such as passwords, PIN numbers, BIN number, and such types of data that could be store, in order to make sure the equipment inside an organization could become PCI-Compliant. Arsenal Security Group as a company is specialized in certifying and consulting companies to become PCI-Compliant.

 

The Web Application was divided in two, a centralized dashboard for Arsenal to review the status of the clients that were running the SST Enterprise Application, the status of their subscriptions and so on. The second part was an implementation for separated types of clients depending on the subscription paid, and this subscription gave them more or less access to information that came from their scanned computers.

 

This projects where implemented with 3 Senior .NET Software Developer, a Security Consultant and a Project Manager, all of them provided by Near Coding.

The SST Enterprise Application was created with an MVVM architecture, using C# and Telerik third-party apps. The SST Arsenal Dashboard was created using ASP.NET (migrated from classic ASP by Near Coding’s Personnel) and the SST Dashboard for each client was initially an ASP.NET Web Forms application but was later migrated to a ASP.NET MVC with AJAX Application.

The project has been managed with the SCRUM methodology, we provided the SCRUM Master and all the infrastructure for completing the project on time and with the planed budget.

GAP - Geo-mechanics Analytics Program

Geo-mechanics Analytics Program (GAP) is a full featured Enterprise Application created for DataLog Colombia SAS (DataLog Technologies LLC, Subsidiary), that translates data for Oil Analytics and predictions into perfectly design graphs and printable design; it is also able to export and import data from file extensions from several leading software in the area. It save a lot of metadata so the engineer studying the Well where the oil can be extracted can also know what is happening in real time.

 

It was design using the latest MVVM architecture and it was managed as a custom-design application, with the Scrum methodology, where a few set of prioritized requirements where taken by the client, then they were created as user stories and added to a backlog, two senior developers where assigned to this development and the Sprint Backlog was managed using Trello as the board, with Daily Stand Up meetings, Burn down charts and an internal Wiki as the knowledge-base.

 

The application also had a dashboard for management of the available license, that is because only the entitle person could have a license, and that license will be bound with the downloaded app, so the dashboard managed this logic.

 

The application used third-party software and libraries such as SciChart, AvalonDock, Xceed Toolkit Plus for WPF and several NuGet packages with libraries for color palettes, icons, and other miscellaneous design items.

Doclocker is a file storage system base in the cloud. The security is its main feature, allowing the user to get enterprise grade security that’s usually reserved for banks, big global companies, and the military.

Doclocker was managed with Agiles methodologies, most development was in the back-end, how data was saved and, including cloud data and encryption algorithms for the saved files. Near Coding developed the architecture and back-end streaming connections of the app with one technical leader and one senior developers, they interacted with the client through Project Management. AAPower Equipment FBA Tracker App

 

 

The FBA Tracker is a full featured application that interacted with Amazon Seller Central API and retrieve several data related to the Order Lists, Shipment Prices Charts, Inventory, Restock Predictions among others; since not all the data came from the API, some data was retrieved with screen scratches automated by software created by Near Coding for AAPower Equipment, Inc.


This project was developed with a Senior Full-Stack .NET Web Developer, initial as a Asynchronous page, but later as a Single-Page application using Angular JS. The application also handles several parts of the Amazon Marketplace Web Services API (Amazon MWS) and third-party components such as Open Charts. It was a very complex dashboard created absolutely custom-made for the client. This development took over 23 months and during that time the client’s sales through Amazon increased in at least 200%.


Near Coding created the entire Project Management of the app, including an initial Schedule, Work Breakdown Structure and task assignation tasks; initially it was followed by the client, later the client wanted to continue to modify the app to make it custom made. Near Coding created the entire architecture, initially as a Web Forms application and in less than 9 months in became an ASP.NET MVC 4 Single-Page application with AngularJS as the main client-side language used.
