Near Coding is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer with great experience with C# and Visual Basic .NET to provide development expertise for an end-to-end data flow system based in the highest practices of Software Development.

In this role, the candidate will design, implement, develop, test, and deploy software systems, including configuration management and systems configuration.

The candidate will assist with creating tests for newly developed code and will be highly involved in developing core functionality of existing systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Design and implement maintainable software solutions on the backend components, databases, services, APIs and more

– Conduct systems analysis and programming activities for the development, maintenance, and installation of computer programs to support internal business operations

– Use engineering best practices to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments

– Analyze, diagnose, and resolve software bugs utilizing approved configuration management and deployment procedures

– Work with other software developers, supervisors, product managers, senior leadership, and customers as needed

– Study legacy software and develop contemporary solutions, as well as migrate to newer solutions

REQUIREMENTS

1. C# (must have experience with C# 7.0+)

– .NET Core 2.0+

– Web API is a plus

– MVC 5+ is a plus

– Unit Testing

2. Visual Basic and Visual Basic .NET

3. Node.js

– Must be proficient in Server-Side scripting

– Proficient in Bootstrap

– Browser independent testing

4. JavaScript

– AJAX

5. Angular

6. SQL

– Proficient at using Microsoft SQL Server 2012+

– Stored procedures

– Triggers

– Must be able to optimize queries

7. Git

8. Agile/Scrum Experience

EDUCATION

– Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience in a related field.

– Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
